One of the softest, most pliable pieces in the collection. The wool on this antique Bavanat is silky smooth and glistens even more in person. The looseness of the weave and lustrous wool are characteristic of Bavanat village in southwest Iran. Beautiful brick reds, butter yellows, muted salmon, and fabulous indigo blues come together in a composition that is as pleasing to the hand as it is to the eye. A great size for a living space or bedroom.
